Chess stories

Inna teaches chess preschoolers and almost every day she brings back some stories or interesting phrases. Small kids - and she deals with 5-6 year olds - are always a source of laugh and smile, but sometime it is even more than usual. After the explanation, the girl at one of the kindergartens asks once again how the pawn ("hayal" - soldier in Hebrew) goes. Inna explains and the girl comes back with the question - "Teacher, in real life, soldiers go the same way, right?" In Hebrew chess is called "shah-mat" (just like in Russian and quite a few other languages). There are endless variations of how kids call the game - "mahshat", "shmahat" etc. Know more jewels like this? Let me know.
